What is your shop minimum?
-Our shop minimum is $60
How much will my tattoo cost?
-Each of our artists set thier own prices, so it will depend on which artist does the tattoo. Many factors go into determining the price of a tattoo (such as size, detail, color or black and grey, etc.) so pricing must be discussed in person with the artist.
Do you take walk ins?
-While walk ins are always welcome at Painted Pony Tattoo, we do recommend appointments as our artists tend to book up quickly. We cannot guarantee you a spot as a walk-in, as they are first come first serve. If we cannot fit you in as a walk-in we will be more than happy to schedule you an appointment.
-Painted Pony Piercing is walk in only, except for below the waist piercings, which are appointment only.
How old do you have to be to get a tattoo or piercing?
-You must be 18 to get a tattoo in the state of South Carolina.
*State issued ID is required!!!
* You must be 18 to sign for yourself to get a piercing. If you are underage we require a parent or legal guardian to be present. ID's must have matching information. If the minor does not have an ID we require the long form birth certificate.
* There are age requirements to get some piercings. Please contact the shop for any questions regarding this.
Can you give me a price on the tattoo I’m wanting over the phone or via social media?
-Unfortunately, we are unable to quote tattoo prices on the phone or via social media. Many factors go in to the price of the tattoo (size, detail, color or black and grey etc.) so quotes must be discussed in person.
Can I set up an appointment online or by phone?
-No, you must come to the shop to set up an appointment. We require a deposit for any appointments made, so this must be done in person.
What is the process for setting up an appointment?
-Stop by the shop to talk to the artist of your choice. At this time, you will discuss any ideas you may have. Be sure to bring any pictures or references with you. The artist should be able to give you an estimated cost at this time. A time and date will be set for your appointment, and a deposit to hold your spot will be required. Depending on the tattoo, this can range between $20-$100. This deposit will go towards the final cost of your tattoo.
When will I be able to get my tattoo?
-Our artists stay extremely busy, so we recommend setting up your appointment as soon as possible. Some of our artists are booked up weeks in advance…especially on the weekends. Although we do take walk ins, an appointment is always recommended to guarantee your spot.
I left a message on social media, email, or voicemail. Why haven't I heard back from you?
-We receive hundreds of messages and calls per day. While we do try to respond to each individual, we do get behind. The best and most efficient way to reach us is to come by the shop. We understand that this may seem like an inconvenience to some, but it’s a small price to pay for something that will be on your body permanently.
My jewelry fell out. Can I come here to get it put back in?
-We can put your jewelry back in for $10+tax.
